Bredasdorp Golf Club is a 9-hole golf course establishment, which was founded in 1919. It is located in the heart of Bredasdorp, a small town in the Overberg region, between the Cape Peninsula and the Garden Route, south-east of Cape Town. Bredasdorp GC meanders on a rugged foothill, beyond the Hottentots-Holland Mountains on the northern edge of the Agulhas Plain, about 35 kilometers north of the southernmost tip of Africa.

Despite its size, the Bredasdorp Golf Course is the Jewel of the southernmost, a pleasant and well-maintained golf venue to play at. The course has fledged into an excellent golf testing facility. It is estimated at 5652 meters with 18 different teeing positions, which tend to reward careful shot making rather than raw power.

Bredasdorp golf course lies within a unique Mediterranean weather belt, with several different macro weather conditions. Weather statistics can vary greatly over short distances in this area. This is partial due to the diverse landscape and greatly due to the effects of both the warm Indian Ocean and the cold Atlantic gusts.
