The East London Golf Club, one of the finest and oldest courses in South Africa this jewel of the Eastern Cape is regarded by many as a course every golfer should play.

Built amongst rolling hills, dunes and indigenous flora the club has a long history of playing host to national and regional championships and has been the venue for the SA Open six times. The club even boasts a resident herd of impala an interesting distraction to your game. The course was extensively revamped in 2007 with a view to increasing the challenge to players and overall enjoyment of their game.

If you're lucky enough to have a favourable wind on the first hole can see you on the green in two on this par 5 with well bunkered green and a sloping putting surface. Look out for hole 5 an unusual par 4 with a humpback fairway and a 250 metre blind drive uphill to the green. A particularly challenging and enjoyable hole to play.
