Citrusdal GC is situated on a level plain along the river banks of the Olifants River with views of the splendid Cederberg Mountains which are well known for bearing ancient San Rock Paintings. Citrusdal is a busy rural village set amongst lush green citrus orchards and wide open fields of cultivated rooibos.

Even though Cederberg district is just about 170 km, an hour and a half's drive from Cape Town along the N7 route to Namibia, the landscapes are totally diverse. Citrusdal Golf Club is wilder and warmer with a raw histrionic beauty. Citrusdal Golf Club is believed to have been established in 1975. Citrusdal Golf Club opens on Mondays and visitors are welcome every day.

For driving directions to Citrusdal Golf Club. Cross the Piekenierskloof pass Piketberg and Citrusdal. Turn off the N7 towards Citrusdal upon entering the valley and proceed for another 2 km into the village. Take the first left street on to Oewer Street after crossing the bridge and left again into the grounds of the Citrusdal golf course, after passing the caravan park.
