The Sakabula Golf Course is a Gerrie de Jong designed golf course. Sakabula GC is 18 holes, par 73 parklands golf course, situated approximately 20Kms along the N3 highway from Pietermaritzburg,   on the foothills of the Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands, with breath taking views over the Drakensburg and surrounding mountains.

The course at Sakabula Golf Club is fully enclosed and offers security to golfers. The golf field is made of Kikuyu fairways and Kikuyu paved greens. It was opened for play in May 1997 and since then, the course has matured into a wonderful country golf club that provides a real test of golf in a relaxed and friendly.

The front nine criss-crosses an undulating valley providing a panoramic scenic view over the Drakensberg Range. The back nine streams along a stunning natural watercourse and wetland area with several dams. Sakabula golf course is designed to challenge pros and rookies alike and all skill levels between.

Directions to Sakabula golf course. Approximately 1hr's drive from Durban CBD and a mere 15 minutes from Pietermaritzburg.  Approaching from the N3 highway please take the R617 Howick South exit and you'll see the main gate to Sakabula Country estate on your left , turn here go through security and follow the tar road for + - three kilometres to the club house.
