Bethulie GC

Bethulie Golf Club is a unique public country golf course facility. It is set in a beautiful & peaceful southern Free State region in a small historical town named Bethulie. This small agricultural town is centrally situated along the R701 and only a short distance up the Orange River and the Provincial border that separates the Free State from the Eastern Cape Province in South Africa.

Bethulie GC is a quiet undiscovered country side golf gem with 9 holes. It was best designed to put that short game to the test. The greens are undulating, slightly sloped, well-manicured and fast.

Although there are no water hazards on play, Bethulie Golf Course is fairly challenging to the average player but is not short of pleasure. It also offers panoramic views of, the surrounding sandstone mountains, the antelope sanctuary Mynhardt Game Reserve, the Bethulie Dam which lies to the north of town with the biggest fresh water Lake, Gariep Dam to the south and more views of the longest bridge in Southern Africa, the Orange River Bridge.

The mashie golf course at Bethulie golf Club lies in the Free State's dry to semi-arid region where the weather is largely characterized by hot weather conditions with extremely low precipitation.
